Grand Junction Police Make Drunk Driving Arrest

Police arrested a man after witnesses say he slowly hit a parked car in a gas station parking lot on Tuesday night. Police have charged the driver with driving under the influence.

Police say 47 year old, Kenneth Mayfield, drove into a car at a low speed in a gas station parking lot in Grand Junction Tuesday night.

Witnesses called authorities who arrived at the Loco gas station at 12th and Orchard around 9:30 pm.

Grand Junction police arrived and took Mayfield into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol. The crash caused minor damage to the driver’s vehicle.
