Vitamin Cottage expands to fill the natural food need

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Even though the economy is still lagging for many, one business that always seems to have a line is the Vitamin Cottage. The store will soon have even more room for shoppers filling their carts with healthy choices.
The Vitamin Cottage is remodeling and expanding into the shop next door. That will up the space by more half. The Vitamin Cottage's manager says that business has been busy, and the renovations will bring even more variety to the shelves.
"There's going to be a lot of gluten free products. We're going to obviously offer a whole lot more of everything. We're going to have a ton more space. There is going to be a lot more frozen, grocery and produce," says Joe Leech, manager of the Vitamin Cottage.
The Vitamin Cottage is also hiring a nutritional coach to help customers, free of charge. The renovations should be complete by the end of November.
