Recall: Boy Scouts Merit Badge

The Boy Scouts are recalling over a million Cub Scout merit badges.

The immediate recognition kits, or "totem badges", have high levels of lead paint. The badges are given out to Cub Scouts between the ages of 7 and 8.

The badge's maker is asking parents to take away the totem badges, and check with scout leaders for more information. So far, no illnesses have been reported.
