Rockies Heading To NLCS

The Colorado Rockies swept the Philadelphia Phillies Saturday night to win its first postseason series in franchise history.

The Rockies got on the scoreboard in the fifth inning as Kaz Matsui hit an RBI triple.

While the Phillies tied the game in the 7th inning with a home run, pinch hitter Jeff Baker had an RBI single in the 8th to take the lead.

Manny Corpas threw a perfect 9th inning for the save and the 2-1 victory.

The Rockies will face off against division rival the Arizona Diamondbacks to see who will represent the National League in the World Series.
