LITTLETON, Colo. (AP) - Littleton Police have cited a 38-year-old woman for alleged failure to yield after a car pulled into traffic and knocked Colorado gubernatorial candidate Tom Tancredo off his motorcycle on Sunday.

Tancredo says he walked away with only scrapes and bruises.

Littleton Police Lt. Sean Dugan says the citation was issued to Jennifer Dugan of Littleton, who is not related to the police spokesman.

He says Dugan and two passengers were unharmed.

Tancredo says he was riding his Harley-Davidson on South Broadway in the Denver suburb of Littleton when he was cut off by a car entering the street from a parking lot.

LITTLETON, Colo. (AP) - Colorado gubernatorial candidate Tom Tancredo says a car knocked him off his motorcycle while he was riding in the Denver suburb of Littleton, but he suffered only scrapes and bruises.

Tancredo tells KMGH-TV in Denver that the car bumped his Harley Davidson on Sunday afternoon when he was riding home after getting a haircut.

Tancredo says he wasn't wearing a helmet.

The 64-year-old says his glasses and watch were broken and his motorcycle was badly damaged. He says he went to a hospital after doing a radio interview.

It's not clear whether any citations were issued.

Tancredo, a former Republican Congressman, is running for Governor on the American Constitution Party ticket. He faces Republican Dan Maes and Democrat John Hickenlooper.
