Grand Junction High School students are back in class after they were evacuated while police investigated a suspicious package.
The school was to break for lunch when the principal made the call to evacuate the campus around 10:30AM.
The Grand Junction Police Department's bomb squad was called to the scene to investigate the item.
It turned out to be a sleeping bag with belts wrapped around it. Ironically, one year ago today, the school held a drill for an emergency situation.
The school has been given the all clear and classes have resumed.
