A new organization targets young folks to do good in the world, by taking actions right here in Mesa County.

It’s called Rotaract, and was formed by good–doers themselves, the Grand Junction Downtown Rotary Club. Rotaract gives folks aged 18 to 35 the chance to coordinate fundraising events for local charities. It also focuses energy on international service opportunities.

On Thursday, lunch will be served during the noon hour at the Catholic Outreach in Grand Junction, to feed those in need.
