Grand Junction Boy Arrested For Threatening To Stab Student

An 11-year-old boy is arrested after threatening to stab a fellow student.

At around one o'clock Tuesday afternoon police were called out to the Opportunity Center on Colorado Avenue. Police say the 11-year-old got into an argument and then threatened to stab a student. During the fight, the 11-year-old also pushed a teacher.

The student was taken into custody and is being held at the Department of Youth Corrections. He's facing charges of felony menacing, harassment and interfering with school staff.
