The Mesa County Coroner's Office says the five year old girl that died earlier this week was suffocated when a piece of heavy equipment fell on her.
Natalie Himes was killed Tuesday afternoon at her parents home in Mesa when some heavy equipment she was playing on fell on her. The young girl died on scene despite attempts to revive her with CPR. The coroner says her death was just a accident.
Natalie's father had been outside with her while she was playing but had gone inside briefly when the accident happened.
