In the wake of Colorado Rockies ticket fiasco, the FBI has opened an investigation to look into the the matter to determine if computer hackers may have been to blame.
In the first 90 minutes, more than 8 million fans logged on to score World Series tickets in Denver, crashing the server and suspending ticket sales.
The team claims an external, malicious attack brought down the ticket buying system.
The FBI is looking into a possible internet compromise, which may have happened in Irvine, California.
Major League Baseball claims the system was simply overloaded and no foul play was involved.
