Montrose High School students will be back in school Monday morning after last week's health scare.
School officials say the school is safe, even though a student was diagnosed with a MRSA Staph infection; a the more dangerous form of the infection because it's resistant to antibiotics. School was out for half the day Thursday and all day Friday for parent teacher conferences.
And over the weekend, custodial crews cleaned and disinfected the entire school. School officials have been working closely with the Montrose County Department of Health.
School officials aren't releasing any information other about the infected student at this time, except that the student is out of class and under care.
