Hazmat is called out to Interstate 70 for a chemical spill, and it's the third time in two months.

Lower Valley Fire and Grand Junction Fire Department's Hazmat Crew was called to the Mack exit off of Interstate 70 this morning for a report of two piles of a white substance. The powder turned out to be a disinfectant chemical, it was tested on scene and found to be non-hazardous...

The Hazmat team says that the Mack exit is a common place for trucks to pull over for a rest and that it's possible the powder leaked from a truck.
