Surveillance Video May Help Catch Armed Robber

The Grand Junction liquor store that was robbed at gun point Tuesday night is hoping surveillance video might lead to an arrest.

The store released video of the suspect robbing Johny's Beer & Liquor Store at 666 Patterson Road.

Police say the man went into the store just after 7:30, showed the clerk a semi automatic handgun and demanded money. He then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and some liquor.

The suspect is about six foot and about 220 pounds. He has a goatee and was wearing a dark colored beanie, light jean jacket and jeans.
