Thursday is 'Guinness World Record' day.

And around the world more than 200,000 people will celebrate by attempting to break or set a world record. From the largest underpants and an attempt at the highest tandem parasail, to the world's tallest and smallest dogs "meeting" in California.

People and animals are joining to celebrate world records. Everything from the world's largest 'Riverdance' in Ireland, to the most people fire–walking in Canada, the world will do its best to enter the record book.

Even the day itself will set a record: the record for the day with the most records set!
