Monday morning, the entire crew of the cargo ship that caused a massive oil spill in the San Francisco bay is being held for questioning.
They're being detained as part of a criminal investigation. The Coast Guard says they'll be released once they talk with federal authorities.
The spill happened in the bay area on Wednesday. Crews are still working to clean it up.
On Sunday, hundreds of volunteers used bags and gloves to clean the oil from wildlife, sand and vegetation. A team from the National Transportation Safety board is now on the scene, looking into the cause. The cargo ship slammed into the Bay Bridge.
The ship leaked about 58,000 gallons of heavy fuel leading to the area's worst oil spill in nearly 20 years.
