And the casino where Elvis made his Las Vegas debut is no more.

The New Frontier, which opened in 1942 as a wild west–styled resort, was imploded early Tuesday morning. The Vegas landmark, which closed in July, was the first themed casino on the strip. It was demolished to make way for a new high–end luxury resort.
