Two teens facing some serious charges will remain behind bars without bond until at least the end of the week.
Broc Riddle and Evan Phillips went before a Mesa County Magistrate Tuesday morning who said the boys pose a danger to the community and should be kept in detention.
Riddle and Broc are accused of trying to steal 31 guns from Gene Taylor's Sporting Goods.
Police are still trying to determine what the boys were going to do with the guns.
Phillips will be advised of his possible charges on Friday and Riddle will be before a judge on Monday.
Both of the 16-year-olds could face charges of burglary, theft, criminal mischief, illegal possession of handguns by juveniles, and obstruction of a peace officer.
Riddle also faces a charge of possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
