Grand Junction Police Searching For Attacker

Grand Junction police are looking for a man accused of beating another man late Monday night outside of the Melrose Park apartments on North 26th Street.
Police say the a white man, who's distinguishing feature is dreadlocks, hit 19 year old Joshua Rivera with a blunt object in the back.
The attacker then took off in his Chevy van. The van is cream colored with a green pin–stripe.
Rivera is currently being treated in St. Mary's intensive care unit.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers at 241–STOP.
