Traffic is moving again on Interstate 70 through Debeque Canyon, after a dozen separate accidents involving 18 different vehicles.
State Patrol says drivers were easily deceived because one minute they would be on dry road, and the next on slick ice.
There were only minor injuries in all the crashes, and no one had to go to the hospital.
Troopers say now that we're in slick road season drivers need to remember to slow down.
