Woman Infant and Children Program Rules

By  |

This week the USDA has changed the rules for it WIC, the woman infant and children program, changes they've been working on for 10 years.

The changes cut out saturated fats and give healthier options for parents. Now they can get more fruits, vegetables and whole grains but dairy items and eggs will be cut back.

The changes will not be implemented for at least one year.
