A second person has died after a shooting at a shooting at a church in Colorado Springs.

The deadly attack Sunday was one of two in Colorado, and authorities are trying to determine whether the shootings are related.

The unidentified person died shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday night.

A gunman killed two staff members at a missionary training center in Arvada after being told he couldn't spend the night.

12 hours later, a gunman shot five church members at New Life Church in Colorado Springs before a guard killed him. One of the victims was treated at the Church and released. Three others were taken to Penrose Hospital. One of those was treated and released. The other remains in fair condition.

Colorado Springs Police Chief Richard Myers said the gunman in those shootings was shot and killed by a Church Security guard.

Meanwhile, Colorado Springs Police say they are working with Arvada Police on executing a search warrant in connection with the shootings at New Life Church.

Authorities are serving a search warrant at a home about 15 miles south of Denver that could be related to at least one of two shootings that left five people dead in Colorado.

No names have been released at this point.

Colorado Springs Police will release more information Monday morning at 9 a.m. and again at 3 p.m.
