It's the gift of giving and it began as an idea of donating money, but turned into buying as many toys as possible and donating them to the Salvation Army.
The owner of K&M Towing, Kim Pearman got together with other towers of the Grand Valley and collected $2,100.00 to buy toys at Walmart.
Pearman and his family went on a shopping spree, exceeding their limit and spending more than $2,500.00, but he says it's all worth.
The Salvation Army couldn't be more grateful for Pearman and the other tow companies who pitched in to help.
Everything donated to this Salvation Army stays right here in Mesa County.
Families who have already been interviewed for donations are able to pick up their toys on Wednesday and Thursday at the National Guard Armory.
The companies who participated:
K&M Towing, Girardi's Towing, River Road Towing, Dan's Towing, Liberty Towing, American Towing, Pro Tow and Atlas Conoco.
