Two late night time talk show hosts will return to TV.
As the writers strike remains at an impasse, N.B.C.'s "Tonight" Show with Jay Leno and "Late Night" with Conan O'Brien, will begin airing fresh episodes on January second.
Both shows will go back into production without writers.
Striking writers say they feel betrayed.
The hosts of both shows say they support the writers, but say they need to get their non-writing staffs back to work.
