Dark Chocolate Debate

Dark chocolate has been touted for its heart healthy benefits in several studies.
But the stuff that appears to make dark chocolate healthy, called flavanols, actually tastes bitter and some experts warn that manufacturers may take out the flavanols from the darkened cocoa solids.
So the candy might look and taste like dark chocolate, but without those heart healthy benefits.
Not only that, but experts say the fat, sugar and calories in candy may trump any benefits.
