Storms moving through will dump as much as 20 inches of snow on parts of Colorado tonight.

The National Weather Service has issued a heavy snow warning for areas around Grand Mesa, Battlement Mesa and the Northwest San Juan Mountains.

The Grand Mesa could get more than a foot of snow and Grand Junction should see one to two inches.

Forecasters are warning against unnecessary travel.

Denver is expected to see four to eight inches of snow before the sun
goes down tomorrow. That is in addition to the nearly eight inches that fell yesterday, the snowiest christmas day on record.

The Central Mountains around Aspen and Vail are expected to
receive another six to 12 inches on snow.
