A warning for parents, health experts say be wary of puffy winter jackets when buckling kids into car seats.

Heavy jackets and snow clothes may slacken seatbelts which could be deadly during an accident.

Experts say with a loose seatbelt a child could be thrown from the car on impact.

Health officials say you can still keep your kids warm in their car seat.
They suggest a blanket or putting them in a thinner fleece sweater.
