NWS: December Wettest Month On Record

According to The National Weather Service this year we've seen 2.04 inches of precipitation, the most since record keeping began in 1893.

December has also been the 11th snowiest month ever. So far we've already seen 9.8 inches of snow- that's double of what we usually see in the month of December.

By the end of Thursday night the Grand Mesa could see anywhere from 10 to 20 inches of snow..

More snow on Saturday night and Sunday morning is expected.
