Greyhound Bus Passenger Arrested After False 911 Call

A man is arrested after police say he called 911 and lied about a passenger having a gun on a Greyhound bus.

Tajvinder Singh Bian was arrested early this morning by the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.

Officials say the man called 911 at around 2 am to report that someone had a gun on the eastbound bus.

Deputies stopped the bus on Interstate 70 and searched passengers but found no guns.

They say the suspect seemed nervous and intoxicated and his cell phone number matched the number that called 911.

He was booked into the Mesa County Jail on suspicion of false reporting and hindering public traffic.
