Convicted Murderer's Appeal Rejected

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- A setback for Michael Blagg, the man sentenced to life for killing his wife Jennifer back in 2001. An appellate court rejected his appeal.

The defense attorney questioned evidence that led to the conviction.

Blagg was found guilty of first degree murder for shooting his wife Jennifer.

Her body was found in a Mesa County landfill in July of 2002. Their 6 year old daughter Abby is missing and presumed dead.
