After Secretary of State Mike Coffman decertified voting machines in Mesa County, the county decided to hold a mock vote to test them.
The test took place Thursday after Coffman’s administration found accuracy and security issues with E S and S issued voting machine. The county acted as though the election were live and followed all steps start to finish.
County voting machines passes all tests Thursday. The county will apply for and appeal of Coffman’s ruling after the vendor is through looking at his 30,000 page report.
