According to the Mesa County Underage Drinking Prevention Task Force, a 16 year old is more likely to die from alcohol related problems than any other cause.
The task force kicked off a new campaign this morning, "choose not booze” is the message the they are trying to get across by targeting teens and parents.
The task force also says that it only takes young people six months to two years to become addicted to alcohol.
