An arctic cold front has moved through Colorado, dropping temperatures significantly.
Another cold front is expected to move through the area Wednesday night.
Lows have not reached record levels. Tuesday's record low was (-)8 degrees, set last year, but Grand Junction only cooled down to 5 degrees Tuesday night. Wednesday's record low is (-)10, set back in 1925.
High temperatures have been unusually cool. Wednesday's high temperature was 22 degrees. The normal high temperature for this time of year is 36 degrees. The colder than normal temperatures look to remain into the weekend.
