More than 400 people were called for jury duty in the Sam Lincoln case, but 106 of them never showed up or called in. 78 of those who did not show up at the courthouse were issued ‘Failure to Appear’ notices, which can carry a fine of $750 and a six month jail sentence.
Those who've received ‘Failure to Appear’ notices can simply call and reschedule for jury duty to avoid any legal penalties.
