Friends and family gather to remember a woman who was killed while she was trying to help someone else.

Christina Sterling–Soffel was killed when a truck hit her while she was crossing I–70 to help a stranded motorist.

The 28-year-old was a graduate of Mesa State College. Her husband says she was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Nearly a hundred people gathered at Canyon View Vineyard Church for her funeral.

Donations for her memorial are being accepted at the Colorado Federal Credit Union.
