A 19-year–old soldier from Denver has died after serving in Iraq.
Department of Defense officials say Private First Class Duncan Charles Crookston died from his injuries Friday.
He was wounded in Iraq in September when an explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
Crookston was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. He died friday at Brooke Army Medical Center in Texas.
