A Redlands house caught on fire late Monday night, causing $100,000 in damages.
The fire broke out around 8:30pm at 525 Mockingbird Lane.
Fourteen firefighters from three different stations were called out to the scene. They say when they arrived, they could see heavy smoke and flames inside the home.
It took crews a while to start battling the blaze, however, because they couldn't find any nearby fire hydrants. Because of that, a water tanker was called in to help. Once it arrived, firefigthers extinguished the fire relatively quickly.
Fire officials say no one was home when the fire broke out. They say the house has significant heat, smoke, and structural damage, and are estimating $100,000 in losses.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
