GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) It's October and you know what that means-- time for candy corn, pumpkin carving, and the Express All-Stars haunted house. This marks the 14th year team members and their parents have hosted the haunted house.
The annual haunted house provides Mesa County with some spook-tacular fun during the Halloween season.
"This is our biggest fundraiser and it helps us travel all across the U.S. and helps us get to worlds, which is one of the biggest competitions," says Cheyanne Hays, with Express All-Stars.
This year the Express All-Star competitive dance team has planned its biggest haunted house with 30 scary rooms, put together by the girls and their parents.
The haunted house is a fundraiser for the dance and cheer team. The funds raised help them travel to events in Denver, and as far away as Orlando, Florida.
The haunted house will be open every Friday and Saturday from 7 to midnight and admission is $12.
Then during the week of Halloween, they'll be open on the 30th and 31st, with a kid-safe trick or treat street being held on Halloween.
The haunted house is located at 721 South 7th St. in Grand Junction.
