Family and friends continue to mourn the loss of a 2 1/2 year old boy who died Wednesday in house fire.

Stoney Bridgeo died Wednesday afternoon when a fire broke out in his Eckert home. His father was able to escape but firefighters couldn't reach him because the fire was too intense.

Officials say the Bridgeo family was renting the home and lost everything. The Bridgeos also have twin 5–year–old boys and an 11 year old boy.

A fund has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank to help the family.

On Thursday firefighters and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation were on scene trying to figure out what caused the fire. They say at this point it just appears to be a tragic accident.
