Two Earthquakes in Two Days in Utah


Salt Lake City (AP) _ A magnitude 3.6 earthquake hit Northern
Utah today, the second in two days in the state.

The minor earthquake occurred around 2:30 p.m. the University of
Utah seismograph stations says the epicenter was six miles
northwest of Garland and seven miles northwest of Tremonton.

It was felt in Logan, about ten miles east of Tremonton. There was also a 3.6 magnitude earthquake shortly before midnight yesterday in outh-central Utah. The epicenter was near Kingston and Circleville in Piute County. No damage was reported.
