Explosion at Sugar Refinery Plant Near Savannah, Georgia

Authorities in Georgia are reporting dozens of injuries because of an explosion and fire at a sugar refinery near Savannah.

Police report as many as a hundred people may have been hurt in the explosion, at least 30 of them critically.

No deaths are being reported but many of the injuries are critical.

The refinery, owned by Imperial Sugar, is a longtime Savannah landmark known as the Dixie Crystals plant.
