A new grant may help save what some call a historical bridge in Fruita.
The Colorado Historical Society has given a $200,000 grant to help the City of Fruita save a century old bridge.
Advocates say it's important to preserve the bridge because it is such a rich part of Fruita's history.
City Council Member Ken Henry says the money will be used to replace the piers.
The bridge in Fruita is one of only three of its kind left standing in the country.
