Police have confirmed that a dead woman found in a field in Reno, Nevada Friday was a college student who's been missing for nearly a month.
Brianna Denison vanished from a friend's home in the early morning hours on January 20.
Her body was found about eight miles from the house where she was last seen. An autopsy has determined that she died of strangulation and police say they believe her body was in the field for at least a week.
Police say DNA evidence links Denison's abductor to at least two other sexual attacks in the area and an attempted break–in at a home but so far, there have been no arrests.
