The Lion's Club Carnival took place at Two Rivers Convention Center Saturday night.
Food, fun and prizes were on the carnivals agenda. Lion's Club President Reford Theobold is optimistic they're going to raise a record amount of money to give to western slope organizations. Theobold, "It's a great crowd we had a lot of folks winning lots of prizes. It's going great. Our goal is $225,000 this year and i think we'll make it."
Theobold says $225,000 would be a new record topping last years record of $211,000dollars.
The Grand Junction Lion's Club has raised over $4 million since the inception of the carnival 79 years ago.
