The world's largest retailer takes a side in the high definition war.
Wal–Mart says it will only sell high–definition DVDs in the blu–ray format in its 4,000 U.S. stores.
The discount chain will phase–out all HD DVDs by June. Wal–Mart plans to continue to sell traditional DVD players and movies.
Blu–ray also has support from several other retailers, including Target and Blockbuster... And movie studios like 20th Century Fox and Disney.
