Fort Carson Soldier Pleads Guilty to Internet Luring of a Child

A Fort Carson soldier has pleaded guilty to internet luring of a child in a Mesa County online sex sting case from 2007.

Tuesday, a judge sentenced 33–year–old Sgt. Gregory A. Sallee to 10 years to life on probation in the case.

The District Attorney's Office says if he violates probation he will face prison time and he must register as a sex offender as part of a plea deal.

Authorities say Sallee used internet chat rooms to try to arrange meetings with teen girls for sex in Mesa and Jefferson counties last year.

In court Sallee's attorney said the Army will be discharging the soldier within the next few weeks.
