Mesa County Sheriff's deputies arrest three men at gun point after they were seen shooting at ducks in an Audubon Preserve.
Travis Humphrey and Justin Morris were booked into the Mesa County Jail Tuesday on charges of hunting and fishing without a license, careless hunting, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and other charges. A juvenile was also arrested and released on promise to appear.
According to an arrest affidavit the three were shooting at animals in the park with BB guns. When officers arrived on scene the three men ran into the park and threw the guns into the bushes.
The DOW says they haven't found any wounded or dead animals in the area.
Morris is still behind bars on a $75,000 bond. Humphrey is out on bond.
