Every single Starbucks across the country is closing down for four hours Tuesday evening to retrain employees in the "art of the espresso."
Along with working on pouring the perfect shot of espresso and steaming milk, Starbucks say it's going to spend the time reevaluating the customer experience.
Officials say Starbucks is having a tough time selling a $4 cup of coffee with the tightened economy and places like Mc Donald's offering it for about a buck.
The hope is that Starbucks customers will want to spend the extra money for an espresso "artfully" prepared.
In all 7,100 Starbucks closed Tuesday evening to retrain about 135,000 employees.
