President Bush will award the Medal of Honor, our nation's highest military honor, today.

A Native American soldier will receive the medal for his heroism during the Korean War.

Master Sergeant Woodrow Keeble will become the first full–blooded sioux indian to receive the medal of honor.

According to army records, he ignored life threatening wounds to take out three mountainside enemy pillboxes which had pinned down a U.S. platoon.

President Bush last awarded the Medal of Honor in October to a navy seal killed in Afghanistan.
