Five U.S. Soldiers killed in iraq

Baghdad (AP) The U.S. military says five american soldiers have been killed in an apparent suicide attack in Iraq.

Officials say the five were on foot patrol in central Baghdad at the time of today's bombing.

According to a statement, four of the soldiers died at the scene, and the fifth died later from wounds.

It says the blast also wounded three U.S. soldiers and an Iraqi interpreter.
