Mesa State College is coming together this Saturday to remember the lives of two students cut tragically short by a drunk driver.
Mesa State’s student government will host a remembrance for Jacob Brock and Jennifer Kois. The two died on March 22nd of last year when a car struck them from behind as they were driving on Interstate 70.
The president of the student body says that this is just one small way to ensure that their memory lives on in the Mesa State community. The remembrance will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday outside of the Grand Mesa Hall and a candlelight vigil will be held later that night at Monument Hall and the Rait Hall quad at 7:30.
